The Autotech VR6 Cams provide fat mid-range power and a strong top end without sacrificing low end torque or smooth idle characteristics. Adding to this camshaft set are the Autotech Heavy duty Valve Springs for piece of mine high-revving with your Autotech 262 Cams.
This particular package also include OEM lifters for those looking to replace their lifters at the same time. It's always recommended to replace lifters when doing a performance camshaft swap. Dyno tests on a 1998 GTI showed an increase of 8.3 peak wheel horsepower over stock, while moving the power peak up from 6100 to 6300 RPM's! Autotech Cams are new billet cam sets, not regrinds, and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
