Eurospec Sport Camshafts are made with the latest design and manufacturing techniques available on the market. Only the finest camshaft design software is utilized to allow higher valve motion efficiency and better matching of acceleration curves to valve spring characteristics. The technology put into these cams, along the most generous castings in the industry, allows Eurospec Sport not to have to sacrifice base circle when grinding very aggressive lobe profiles. If a grind exceeds the capacity of Eurospec's blanks, Eurospec goes to a steel billet.
Many manufacturers are forced to sacrifice either profile or base circle in an effort to grind high performance cams from what are basically street blanks; Eurospec does not! Furthermore, Eurospec Sport's material treatments (including laser hardening, nitrating and low friction coating on their valve train components) greatly reduce wear and thus increase horsepower.
